Snow Day !!

 Well this is the second day of being snowed in, the house is a mess and the kids have formed a serious speech problem. The only words thats their vocal cords are allowing to come out their mouths are "I'm bored" and "Can we do something?".At the latter my mind goes to all kinds of anwsers....yes you can do something! Laundry would be nice and I'm still hungry you could make me a snack,the dog needs to go out and the dishes from breakfast are still in the sink waiting to be washed. With all these anwsers in my head I still remain quiet. Although a snow day to a kid is just the same as vaction time to them that they feel must not be wasted, it is still a work day to for "mom". By the afternoon neighborhood children will make it out to sled and play in the snow, mostly because by this time neighborhood parents will be pushing them out the doors to "go play" translation-
I need a break! Snow days are because of bad weather and cause mutilple dilmmas to parents:
If you a are scheduled to go to work hurry to find a babysitter that will watch your kids because chances are most daycare centers will be closed.
Finding ways to keep your children happy-easiest way let them sleep in as long as possible.
Stopping the kids from eating you out of house and home due to being "bored"-
Require them to wash the dishes before you will cook or allow them to get a snack.
Being able to watch your fav daytime t.v. shows- Send them out to play!
